We’re committed to being transparent about the information we collect and how we use it.

In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

A) IDENTIFIERS & PERSONAL INFORMATION

Ex.: Name, email address, phone number, IP address, signature, address.

Why we collect it: to respond to inquiries, confirm site visits, installations, and communicate project updates.

B) COMMERCIAL INFORMATION

Ex. Product details, purchase/reservation history, project preferences, records of considered products or services.

C) INTERNET/NETWORK ACTIVITY

Ex.: Website browsing activity, cookie data, referring pages.

Why we collect it: to improve our site, troubleshoot issues, and improve customer experience.

D) GEOLOCATION DATA

Ex.: Physical location, zip code and address, IP address.

Why we collect it: to understand our audience regionally, improve local service offerings, detect potential fraud, and personalize website experience.

E) AUDIO, VIDEO, ELECTRONIC, VISUAL, OR SIMILAR INFORMATION

Ex.: Photos, videos, or audio recordings (e.g., job site visits, completed units, testimonials).

Why we collect it: to document project progress, showcase completed work, improve quality control, and also occasionally for marketing purposes.

F) INFERENCES

Ex.: Interests or preferences based on behavior or past interactions.

Why we collect it: to personalize communications, refine marketing, and improve our services.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use the categories above to:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information.
    For example, if you share your name and contact details to request a quote, schedule a site visit, or ask a question, we use that information to respond. If you reserve a unit or make a payment, we use your information to process the transaction, coordinate installation, and keep you updated along the way.
  • To deliver and support our products and services.
    This includes managing your project from first consultation through installation and maintenance, and handling any follow-up requests or warranty-related needs.
  • To personalize your experience.
    We use website activity, project details, and prior communications to offer relevant suggestions, send helpful updates, and make your experience smoother—online and off.
  • To document and improve our work.
    We may take photos or videos (with permission) to document your project, assess quality, and showcase completed spaces. These help us refine our construction process and show future clients what’s possible.
  • To process transactions and prevent fraud.
    We work with secure third-party payment providers and use reasonable safeguards to help detect and prevent unauthorized activity.
  • To support customer service and communication.
    We keep records of communication so we can follow up on your questions, track the progress of your order, and continue improving how we serve you.
  • For research and development.
    We use aggregated data to better understand user behavior, test ideas, and improve our website, products, and services.

3. How We Obtain the Information

  • Directly from you — when you fill out a form on our website, book a consultation, email us, or speak with our team
  • Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies that help us understand how you use our website (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • From service providers — such as payment processors or marketing platforms, who help us complete your reservation or reach you with updates (only if you’ve opted in)
  • From project activity — including job site visits, photo documentation, or video/visual/audio records made during installation, walkthroughs, or client interviews.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes listed above, unless a longer retention is legally required.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information to the following types of service providers, strictly for business purposes:

  • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) – to improve our website
  • Advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google) – to improve marketing practices

All partners are bound by agreements that require them to keep your data secure and use it only for the services they provide us.

We will never retaliate or discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Using an Authorized Agent

If you'd like someone to make a privacy request on your behalf, we’ll need written authorization and may still verify your identity directly.

8. Updates to This Privacy Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. The most current version will always be available at wellmade.com/privacy-notice.
